A nautical pole for the practice of offshore sailing, with an annexed school. An area dedicated to sport, a refreshment point, a relaxation area, a space for events, another dedicated to tourist information. And, at sea, a pontoon that can accommodate boats up to 20 meters long.

This is what the Blue Shark Oceanico Srl company in Su Siccu, in the port of Cagliari , wants to achieve: the company has applied for the concession to the port authority. The spaces are those that house the abandoned buildings of the Guardia di Finanza, close to the cycle path that leads to the San Bartolomeo canal.

«We want to invest to create a nautical hub dedicated to ocean navigation: something that doesn't exist in Sardinia. There are already contacts with big names in the sector and we have already bought the boat: it is currently moored in Arbatax». We don't want to unbutton too much Marco Isola, owner of the Blue Shark who, among other things, also designed the stands of the Unipol Domus.

When the go-ahead for the concession arrives, the entrepreneur intends to make a grand presentation: "We've been working on this project for years," he underlines.

The affected area is just over 6,500 square meters on the ground. But the request also concerns 2,145 square meters of water: the whole area will be redeveloped.
