A road accident occurred yesterday evening in Muravera, on Via Roma, where a 56-year-old motorcyclist, originally from Uta and a lifeguard by profession, was injured after hitting a car.

According to initial reconstructions, the man was riding along the town's main road when, for reasons still under investigation, he struck a Peugeot 208 driven by a 44-year-old woman, a teacher living in Ortacesus. The impact caused the motorcyclist to fall, and he sustained such injuries that he was taken to the Monserrato Polyclinic, where he was taken with a yellow code. His condition is not life-threatening. The female driver was unharmed.

Carabinieri from the San Vito Company's Mobile Radio Unit responded to the scene, securing the area, managing traffic, and initiating investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
