A Nigerian man was arrested in recent days at Alghero airport by the Guardia di Finanza for drug trafficking.

The Alghero financial police stopped the man as soon as he disembarked from the plane from Milan, for a routine check, which returned negative results.

Given the man's nervousness and evasive answers regarding his presence in Sardinia , the Green Berets, in agreement with the Sassari Prosecutor's Office, accompanied the man to the hospital for further checks.

Diagnostic tests revealed that he had ingested 101 ovules, which later turned out to contain cocaine and heroin, totaling 1.2 kilos . The courier was then arrested and, by order of the judicial authorities, taken to Bancali prison.
