Two scooters and a car were involved in a serious accident this evening around 8:00 PM on Provincial Road 16, towards Golfo Aranci.
The circumstances of the accident are unclear. One of the motorcyclists slipped after the crash and was hit by the car traveling in the opposite direction. The other crashed into the vehicle of the first, which remained on the ground.
The Olbia firefighters responded to the scene, using lifting cushions to extract the injured man from under the vehicle. He was handed over to the 118 emergency team, who arrived by Areus helicopter, who transported him to the San Giovanni emergency room in Olbia. The other man on the scooter also required medical attention.
The surveys were carried out by the Carabinieri.
