A large fire is underway in Assemini , in the Bia Manna area , where the flames are affecting a large area and threatening some homes.

The Fire Brigade intervened on the scene with a team from Cagliari Central Station and a fire truck.

Rescue workers are busy extinguishing and containing the fire to prevent it from spreading to homes in the area.
