An unstoppable race towards the future, where adrenaline meets solidarity. On Sunday 20 October, Team Solidale will once again take to the track and transform the Monastir go-kart track into a unique and special event: a charity race to support the project “The colours of life”. The roar of the engines will ignite a day of sport and pure fun to raise funds for the humanization of the Neonatology and Obstetrics departments of the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari. The race thus becomes not only an opportunity for recreation, but also a moment to contribute to improving the stay of many mothers and newborns in hospital, with the smile and enthusiasm of those who know that even a small gesture can make a big difference .

The project, which aims to color and visually transform hospital environments, is based on a scientific certainty: the space in which we find ourselves has a profound effect on our psychophysical well-being. In a hospital ward, where delicate and intense moments such as birth are experienced, the value of a welcoming and serene environment is even more important.

The project “The colors of life” aims to transform the corridors and rooms of the ward into a lush forest, in which the Tree of Life stands out, a symbol of rebirth, hope and love .

"We want to make these spaces a place where mothers and families can feel welcomed and serene," explains Agnese Foddis, general manager of Arnas Brotzu. "The theme of the forest evokes the community, a support network that helps to live the experience of motherhood not only as an intimate moment, but as a social value."

The project will not only have an impact on patients and their families, but also on healthcare workers. Doctors and nurses, immersed in a more colorful and pleasant environment, will be able to benefit from a workspace capable of improving their mood and professional performance.
