A flurry of migrant landings in Sardinia: dozens transferred to the Monastir CPA.

Eighty-six intercepted between land and sea (by the Guardia di Finanza), another 4 found by the Carabinieri along the State Road 195. And others – the number is currently unspecified – stopped in various locations in the south of the island: with the favorable sea conditions, landings of foreigners on the coasts of Sardinia have resumed with force.
Favorable sea conditions are facilitating migrant landings along the southern coast of Sardinia.
The first group of nine people arrived in Porto Pino, in the Sant'Anna Arresi area. Eight more were subsequently stopped while leaving the Maladroxia area, in the municipality of Sant'Antioco.
As the hours passed, patrol boats from the Guardia di Finanza's naval operations unit intercepted other small boats, transferring 57 migrants to the ports of Sant'Antioco and Cagliari.
The Guardia di Finanza recently intercepted another vessel with 12 people aboard off the coast of Sardinia , and they too will be disembarked in Sant'Antioco. All the foreigners have been transferred to the first reception center in Monastir.
It cannot be ruled out that further landings may occur in the next few hours.
