A fire breaks out between Assemini and San Sperate, several houses evacuated

Afternoon of fire and fear in the countryside between Assemini and San Sperate, in the locality of Sa Cannada, along the Statale 130.

A large fire, fueled by the high temperatures and the taut mistral wind , with the flames that went as far as to lick the houses scattered in the area.

Several houses were evacuated, with residents forced to anxiously follow the extinguishing operations.

A helicopter and numerous fire brigade teams were on site.

Two days ago, not far away, in the locality of Sa Traia, another fire had occurred: some dogs and chickens had died in the flames.
