«Thank you, for the professionalism and well-being you have given us». This is the heart of the letter sent by GP, a Veronese who saw his two children hospitalized during a holiday, at the top of the Microcitemico hospital in Cagliari , often at the center of controversy, certainly not because of the staff.

The letter was sent to the top management of the Cagliari Local Health Authority and was published on the health company's website. Here she is.

“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the excellent care and assistance received during their hospitalization. In a moment of fragility, uncertainty and unspeakable suffering, we have found comfort in the professionalism, kindness and empathy shown by the entire medical and nursing team. Every member of staff worked tirelessly to ensure their well-being while demonstrating a level of dedication and expertise that I found extraordinary.

I am deeply grateful for the great commitment to providing high quality care and for the constant attention that was given to us during our stay in the hospital, all of which eased our worries and contributed to making the diagnostic therapeutic journey more comfortable and targeted.

In particular, I would like to thank Professor Savasta for his professionalism and competence in managing our case, more unique than rare, for putting himself on the line, involving all his available human resources, to get to the bottom of an extremely complex clinical picture and very difficult to interpret.

Thanks also to all the nurses, coordinated by Dr. Mariella Sedda, who have shown incredible kindness and patience, promptly responding to my children's needs and providing constant support.
I would like to extend my appreciation to all hospital staff, including cleaners, lab technicians and all who have contributed, in different ways, to our well-being.

Dear Director, their work is essential and deserves the utmost recognition and gratitude!!!
Once again, thank you all for making us feel safe and making our shelter as comfortable as possible and for giving us “HOPE”.

I greet you with esteem and gratitude, and I wish you, Professor Savasta and all the hospital staff all the best for the future. You must be proud to have this "Center of Excellence" led by a courageous and farsighted leader, such as prof. Savasta".
