A digital revolution for healthcare and beyond. But for thousands of Sardinians, these services remain off-limits.

The health record is becoming digital-only, via the Io App. And then there's SPID for identification, apps , QR codes... But in Italy, according to ISTAT , 19% of elderly people don't have the minimum skills to navigate online and risk being left out of this "revolution."
In Sardinia, too, services are off-limits to hundreds of thousands of users. Unions offer support services, but—they report—many municipalities lack the necessary desks and information points to provide assistance and services.
Maurizio Carta , regional president of ACLI: "To bridge the digital divide, we need a strategic regional program."
