A serious accident occurred overnight between Donori and Barrali : six people were injured, some seriously, in a head-on collision between two cars. Ambulances were dispatched to the scene to transport the young people to the Brotzu, Santissima Trinità, and Policlinico hospitals.
It happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. on provincial road 11. For reasons yet to be determined, the two cars, which were probably traveling in opposite lanes according to initial reconstruction, collided.
The impact was extremely violent : of the six injured, all between the ages of 20 and 26, some are reportedly in very serious condition. The Carabinieri are on site to carry out surveys and reconstruct the accident and determine any responsibilities.
