A 56-year-old cyclist suddenly falls ill in Alà dei Sardi: rescue efforts are unsuccessful.

A 56-year-old Scottish man, Simon Martin Muir, died today due to illness near Alà dei Sardi.

The man, in Gallura on vacation, was riding his bicycle this morning with some friends when he felt ill. Emergency services were called immediately, but unfortunately, there was nothing they could do for the man. Carabinieri from the Ozieri branch were also on the scene.
