A 34-year-old man from Orosei dies after losing control of his motorcycle on the Eastern Sardinian Highway.

Yet another tragedy on the island's roads. Last night, a thirty-four-year-old man from Orosei lost his life at Capo Comino .

Francesco Quaranta, riding a BMW 1000 RR, lost control of the vehicle while taking a bend and hit a guardrail post, decapitating him .

The tragic accident occurred around 9pm at kilometre 247 of the Orientale Sarda, on the stretch between Capo Comino and Bèrchida .

The Bitti Highway Police, the Siniscola firefighters, and 118 responded to the scene. Investigations are underway to shed light on the dynamics of the accident, which did not involve other vehicles.
