A 21-year-old woman hid under her bed in Monserrato and called 911. She was arrested after a burglar broke into her home.

He broke into a house in Monserrato and, believing he was alone, began rummaging through the rooms looking for money and valuables. Instead, the owner's daughter, a 21-year-old, was there, hiding under the bed and calling 911 .

A patrol of the Carabinieri from Monserrato, who were on another mission, quickly arrived at the house and were diverted to the property. They caught the thief red-handed, with some jewelry and a watch hidden in his purse.
