A serious accident occurred late in the morning on Lei mountain, in the Zuncos area. A 12-year-old boy from a scout group in the Cagliari area fell while he was on a rock, hitting his head .

The little boy was immediately rescued and, although he was conscious, the air ambulance arrived on site and transported him urgently to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro, where he is under observation by the doctors. The child is part of a group of young scouts from the Cagliari area, who for a few days have been hosted in the municipal hut of Zuncos, on the Marghine mountain.

The accident created apprehension among the other kids in the group and also among the municipal administrators of the small town of Marghine. "We hope that the child has not suffered serious consequences - comments the mayor, Luigi Cadau - and that he can return soon together with the group that is spending this period on our mountain".
