He had dissolved ketamine in alcohol, while he had hidden other crystals of the same substance among the clothes in his suitcase . Two stratagems did not help a 28-year-old from Villasimius, but resident in France, to avoid arrest for possession and dealing of drugs.
The young man was stopped for a check at the Cagliari train station: he had just gotten off a train and was about to walk away. The Carabinieri searched him and recovered the suspicious substance. The RIS later confirmed that it was ketamine.
"The RIS analyses - the Carabinieri explain - estimated that the seized drugs could have been divided into just under 700 doses, for an estimated retail market value of around 25,000 euros."
