A team of Sardinian students, from Luras and Calangianus, won the first national title in debate (the competition between teams that support and counter a statement or an argument).

The boys of the Ines Giagheddu Comprehensive Institute, led by the manager Stefano Pilleri, and by the professors Fiammetta Russo and Giuseppe Padua, beat an Abruzzo school in the very final, held this morning in Rimini. The competition (a very close dialectic confrontation) was reserved for middle school students.

The Sardinian team that has defeated the competition from half of Italy is called Berbos and is made up of Antonio Cabras, Mattia Ducceschi, Alessia Pinna and Miriam Todesco. The Italian champions of debate were awarded in the Teatro Tiberio in Rimini, they prevailed debating on this issue: why choose the debate rather than a sporting activity.
