The prices of air tickets reach up to 600 euros for those who want to reach Sardinia during the Easter holidays and do not have access to the reduced rate for residents. Tourists and emigrants will therefore have to prepare to spend figures that have only been seen on the hottest days of August.

The most expensive route is the Rome-Olbia one: to travel during the holidays you need 676 euros with Volotea and 495 euros with AeroItalia (round trip), about four times what residents of the island pay. But all the companies have raised the prices for a seat on board their aircraft. Even Ita Airways, which manages the routes in territorial continuity in the Cagliari airport, is no exception: a ticket for flights arriving from Milan costs 474 euros, while from Fiumicino it is 459 euros.

Same music in Alghero : on the connection with Rome Fiumicino managed by AeroItalia a return flight costs 529 euros. The tricolor low-cost airline, debuting on territorial continuity, is even asking for an additional 48 euros for the "classic" fare which entitles you to check-in baggage (23 kilos) in addition to seat reservations and the possibility of changing dates departure without penalty.

In the same days, Ryanair is asking for 341 euros to fly between Bergamo and Cagliari , and a little less (330) on the route between Bologna and the capital. Finally, the EasyJet Malpensa-Cagliari connection: 310 euros.

On a ship, anyone who thinks they can save something is wrong . On the Genoa-Porto Torres di Tirrenia route, a ticket for four people - two adults and two children - with a cabin and car in tow costs 858 euros. Grimaldi's Civitavecchia-Cagliari route is cheaper: the journey costs 458 euros. Little more is needed (524 euros) to embark on Moby's Livorno-Olbia line close to the Easter holidays (departure on Friday 8 and return on Tuesday 12 April). On the Livorno-Golfo Aranci of Sardiniaferries the same family pays 398 euros.
