It's official: the administrative elections in Sardinia will be held on Sunday 8 and Monday 9 June 2025, in conjunction with the referendums on work and citizenship.

The Regional Council approved today, on the proposal of the Councilor for Local Authorities Francesco Spanedda, the resolution that sets the dates of the vote for the election of mayors and the renewal of municipal councils. The possible run-off, which may concern only Nuoro, will be held on Sunday 22 and Monday 23 June.

In addition to the capital of Barbagia, there are five other municipalities voting: Oniferi, Monastir, Cardedu, Goni and Soleminis.
