Sardinia, summer "expensive": the protest mounts for the increase in prices for the holidays

Sardinia? Beautiful and (almost) impossible due to price increases. A boom in tourists is being recorded on the island, but protests are growing over the steep rise in prices, including that of petrol.

Estimates for holidays also reach +30% and embarking on a ship or plane or eating at a restaurant or renting accommodation becomes a business or a drain.

But, while consumer protest mounts, entrepreneurs explain: "The increases are in line with inflation."

And then there are exceptions: in Pula and Domus de Maria, for example, the price increases remain low so as not to lose visitors.
