It is a declaration of love written in digital code, but with a deeply human heart. It is called “Sardinia I love you” the new interactive web portal presented today in the Sala Anfiteatro della Regione, an ambitious project that speaks above all to the new generations, of the inestimable treasure that is Sardinia. A living narration of the Island: between sea and nuraghi, golf and religious festivals, heartbreaking sunsets and ancient flavors.
Dominating the scene, together with technology, was beauty : the beauty captured by the lens of the participants in the first photography contest linked to the project, which awarded three authorial gazes ex aequo — Stefano Anedda, Mario Rosas and Giuseppe Ungari — capable of conveying the changeable and strong soul of their land. Their images, chosen by a jury of journalists and professionals in the sector, enchanted with their evocative power and technical quality. Special mentions to Maksim Krylenka and Claudia Collu for two shots that became true visual symbols of the project.
“Sardinia I love you” is a multimedia journey, a mosaic of sections and contents accessible in Italian, English, French, Spanish and even Chinese.
Designed for curious tourists and digital users, but also for students and families, it was created by the leading association ACIB – Associazione culturale Italia Brasile, with the support of Mediterranea, the Centro recreational aziendale Regione Sardegna and SL&G.
Between videos, interactive maps, and focuses on events such as Sant'Efisio and local festivals, the site becomes a cultural and promotional tool that crosses Sardinia from Castello to Gallura, passing through the beaches of Poetto, the natural oases and the thousand-year-old archaeological sites.
Also celebrating the initiative were regional councilors Ilaria Portas and Franco Cuccureddu , who praised the freshness of the project and its ability to "speak the language of young people with traditional content."
For Micaela Morelli, vice president of the Fondazione di Sardegna, "the photographic contest restores a heritage that is not only visual, but profoundly identifying". Francesco Feliziani, director of the Regional School Office, shares the same opinion: "It is a useful project, which also enhances and involves the world of school".
The winners of the contest were awarded vouchers of 500 and 250 euros for the purchase of professional material. A symbolic recognition, of course, but also an investment in the talent and vision of those who not only live in Sardinia, but tell its story.
