Sardinia: Half of its workers are unavailable: "Over 30,000 workers are needed."

The latest Infocamere report reveals alarming data: for over 40% of the hiring plans by Sardinian companies, the profiles are "unavailable." Companies need over 30,000 workers until November. The most unfilled sectors are tourism, commerce, and services.

According to Confindustria president Alberto Cellino, "It's difficult to attract young people." The unions: "The shifts are grueling, the wages are inadequate."
