293 companies from across the island have registered: 92 will be awarded during the gala evening after the judging process. The 11th edition of the Sardinia Food Awards , the most important event dedicated to showcasing Sardinia's excellent food and agriculture, is seeing growing numbers. Over 250 guests are expected on Saturday, June 27th at the Is Molas Golf Club. Regional Agriculture Councilor Francesco Agus will also be in attendance.

"Eleven years ago, this project was born with a very simple goal: to give due recognition to the companies that every day represent Sardinia's agri-food excellence with passion and sacrifice. Today," emphasizes Donato Ala Giordano , the award's creator and patron, "the numbers tell us that that intuition was right. Our commitment will continue to be to promote companies not only with an award, but by creating promotional opportunities, commercial relationships, and visibility throughout the year."

Among the evening's most anticipated moments was the awarding of the special Coldiretti "100x100" prize , dedicated to Sardinians who represent a model of quality and identity around the world. The Organic Award, presented by the Sardinia Organic District, will award a single prize to the best organic company.
