The total financial dowry assigned to Sardinia against hydrogeological instability amounts to almost 19 million euros . This was announced by the Deputy Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, Vannia Gava, also adding that " the ministerial decree will be signed in the next few hours " .

In total, 18,981,000 euros are allocated to the island for five interventions assessed as "urgent and priority", in particular the works concern the provinces of Nuoro, Sassari and South Sardinia.

"We have a clear map of our country's fragility - declares the deputy minister - and it is our duty to act as quickly as possible to protect this wonderful region and our communities".

The implementation of the timetable is now entrusted to the President of the Region, as Government Commissioner for the fight against hydrogeological instability.
