Sant'Arte is back on May 25, the cultural festival born from the idea of Pinuccio Sciola , the artist of sonorous stones and murals who died seven years ago.

Four days, from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 May, between creations, debates, shows and music around the theme "New nature".

Not only San Sperate, the village of Sciola. But also Cagliari, Elmas and the airport.

There is a preview: from 16 May an exhibition curated in collaboration with the University of Cagliari on an unfinished project by the same artist entitled "Pinuccio Sciola. It was a forest" .

«The Festival has become a fixed appointment in the cultural schedule of Sardinia thanks above all to the enthusiastic participation of the increasingly numerous public every year - explained Chiara Sciola , president of the Foundation that organizes the review - Pinuccio Sciola has dedicated his life to conveying with the his art a message of profound respect for nature, a very topical theme and which will constitute the essence of this sixth edition of the Festival».

The program

Many events are scheduled including shows, conferences, presentations of works, books and projects, workshops and shows for boys and girls and their families, concerts in the evening.

Among the guests prominent names of the music scene such as Marco Colonna (only on Friday 26 evening) and Neja (vocals) in featuring with the original project of guitarist Osvaldo Lo Iacono (Sunday 28 evening). It begins on Thursday 25 with the intensive training workshop entitled " Art and Multisensoriality. A path between aesthetics, inclusive pedagogy and creativity ” curated by Andrea Socrati, responsible for the special projects of the Tactile State Museum of Ancona in collaboration with the PS Museum Association and Teatro Massimo. The Festival closes on Sunday 28 May with a long series of events in the Giardino Sonoro, the Raw Food Museum and via Argiolas in San Sperate.
