From Thursday 30 May to Sunday 2 June there will once again be "Sant'Arte" , the visual and performing arts festival born from an idea by the artist Pinuccio Sciola .

The initiative, created and coordinated by the Pinuccio Sciola Foundation and now in its seventh edition, takes place under the artistic direction of Maria Sciola and the organizational direction of Elisabetta Villani .

THE FIRST APPOINTMENTS – The Festival opens at 9pm at the Sound Garden of San Sperate with the screening of the documentary “Pinuccio Sciola. The heart of stone" by Luca Scarzella, which retraces the stages that marked the birth of the project conceived in 2015 by the Venetian pianist Gloria Campaner, the Polish jazz musician Leszek Możdżer and Pinuccio Sciola himself: an understanding that blends with the sound of the stones classical music, jazz and electronic music. «This project was a journey in search of the sounds hidden in the 'sound stones' of maestro Sciola – said Campaner – who patiently taught me to play them by caressing them, finding the hidden harmonies, and to transmit those vibrations from the memory of the matter to the soul human, through our own vital frequencies."

At 10pm the first regional screening of "Clorofilla", a film by Ivana Gloria shot entirely in Sardinia, will be held in the presence of the director and sound editor Silvia Orengo . The film tells the story of Maia, a young woman - whose hair and blood are green - and of the inexplicable attraction that leads her to insistently seek contact with nature, trees, flowers.

The film is also the story of his special friendship with Teo, a young man who prefers to be alone, shy and introverted. In the woods he meets Maia, on the run to rediscover her true nature in contact with the earth, ready to flourish. The strong bond born between the two will lead them to help each other in their search for themselves. Ivana Gloria's work represents a profound encounter between nature and human beings, which transforms into love and the discovery of happiness.

The Festival is organized by the Pinuccio Sciola Foundation and promoted by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Sardinia Foundation and the Municipality of San Sperate, with the patronage of various partners .
