There are twenty-eight songs competing in Sanremo this year , three more than 2022 when to be honest it already seemed like a lot. Colapesce and Dimartino – Splash

The sonorities are from the Seventies, the text "Munchian" ("I prefer the noise of the crowded subways to those of the sea"), the ending ("Splash") almost frightening, the challenge of equaling the success of "Musica light" arduous. But wait: what if that wasn't their goal? Rating 7.5

Those who dreamed of a debut to break the Ariston will be disappointed. Rap is not golden and nineties, but the rehashed one of the third millennium, uselessly nostalgic and self-celebrating, unbearably singsong. Rating 5.5

gIANMARIA – Monster
Nice melodic pop that doesn't get boring and could make even the skeptics of talent change their minds. Grade 8

Anna Oxa – Go up

A hymn to ascension and purification from the evils of the world. Definitely pretentious. Grade 5

Mr. Rain – Superheroes

The theme, depression, is current and important. The song, alas, has no depth. Grade 4

Rosa Chemical – Made in Italy

We dance, pant and provoke ourselves: «From two we go to three, the more we are, the better it is». Achille Lauro, we won't miss you on this tour. Rating 8.5
Giorgia – Bad words
The expectation was high but this song is too comfort zone and tastes like a missed opportunity. But what class. Rating 6.5

LDA – If then tomorrow

Boring narration of a Sandy and Danny love: "I miss drawing two initials in a heart of sand with her on the beach." Grade 4
Lazza – Ash

Between production and arrangement, high peaks of electronic music. There's nothing to be done: Dardust doesn't make a mistake. Rating 8.5

Aries - Sea of troubles

Another finished love, but this one - openly LGBT - is far from trivial. Calcutta's hand is felt and much. Rating 7.5

Sethu – Lost causes

Rhythms that chase each other, a refrain that sticks to your head. It doesn't have many pretensions but it is a pleasant discovery. Rating 6.5

Tananai – Tango

Last year he made himself loved with his self-deprecating verve, this time around he is proposing a song with synths and strings from the ancien regime. Want to avoid last place? He will. Rating 5.5

Levant – Alive

Lunar and moody as only she can be, this time she talks about postpartum depression. True to itself. Grade 7

Leo Gassman – Third heart

Among the most catchy and incisive. Well done Leo and Riccardo Zanotti (Nuclear Tactical Penguins) co-author of the piece. Grade 8

Fashion - Leave me

Mengoni – Two lives

Shari – Selfish

Olly – Dust

Very tunz-tunz and quite repetitive. But among young people it is not the worst. Rating 6.5

Last – Sunrise

Usually piano and voice but the writing ability is undeniable and the crescendo works. Here we fly, or rather we return, to the podium. Rating 7.5

Madame – The good in the bad

This explains why, after the controversy over the vaccine investigation, they don't want to let it get away. The piece is among the strongest, it would make a great impression at Eurovision. Grade 9

Will – Stupid

Product that will make the very young pull their hair out. Forgettable for anyone over the age of twenty. Rating 4.5

Mara Sattei – Two thousand minutes

Colla uncle – I don't like it

Light and fun. In other editions the rivals were wasted. In this one, there is not even a half. Rating 7.5
