In the heart of Gallura, amidst Caribbean beaches and story-telling piazzas, San Teodoro Jazz celebrates its tenth edition . From September 1st to 6th, it becomes a diffused stage: a sound laboratory spanning beaches, town streets, clubs, and iconic locations, offering audiences a map of international and local jazz increasingly intertwined with the island's cultural fabric.

Leading the project, now at a historic milestone, is Matteo Pastorino, clarinetist and artistic director, who has transformed an ambitious idea into a vibrant and participatory reality. Ten years of music, encounters, emotions, and memories unfold in a festival unafraid of creative risk or the urgency of forging a dialogue between tradition and innovation.

The rich program confirms the festival's embodied identity : openness and exploration, valorization of the local area, and ongoing attention to the community. Internationally renowned names like Kurt Rosenwinkel, Dayna Stephens, and Paloma Pradal will take the stage, alongside prominent Italian and Sardinian artists like Matteo Pastorino, Federico Milone, Emanuele Filippi, and Carol Mello. But the festival's true hallmark remains the space dedicated to young talent: the debut of the STJ Contest will offer emerging musicians a live showcase, anchored by the concrete possibility of professional recording and future placements in future editions.

There's no shortage of opportunities for active participation: jam sessions held under the Gallura stars, children's workshops with "Musichiamo?" curated by Sara Cuzzupoli, and exhibitions by URBURNERS and Gianluca Vassallo. An ongoing dialogue between music, the local area, and the community, fueled by a network of collaborations and synergies: from the MAST Museum to the Cala d'Ambra Music Festival, and the support of institutions, sponsors, and loyal audiences.

The iconic venues remain the heart of the project : Piazza Gallura, Cala d'Ambra, Lu Impostu, and Costa Caddu will continue to host moments of listening, conversation, and discovery. Yet, between memory and the future, the tenth edition looks ahead: new collaborations, new sounds, and new creative impulses that demonstrate how jazz can move, intermingle, and express itself across diverse places, times, and cultures.

Organized by the San Teodoro Jazz cultural association with the support of the San Teodoro Municipality's Department of Culture, in partnership with foundations, conservatories, museums, and local organizations.
