Prestigious awards for students from the Marconi-Lussu High School in Sangavino, who have excelled in several regional competitions and will now compete with their peers at the national level. In the two-year natural sciences championships, Riccardo Floris took first place, while Giuseppe Porcu placed third. They also achieved good results in the biology and earth sciences championships, with a fourth-place finish, and seventh place in the three-year earth sciences regional competition. Marconi-Lussu students also won the three-year regional chemistry competitions, with Daniele Serra taking first place overall and advancing to the national finals in Florence, while other high school students took second, third, and fourth place. Furthermore, in the two-year regional rankings, Giuseppe Porcu placed second.

Thus, the San Gavino Monreale high school, which specializes in science, applied sciences, humanities, and linguistics, confirms its position as a school of excellence in the local area and at the regional level. It offers numerous initiatives to educate students about legality, and in recent days, several classes participated in a meeting with Giovanni Impastato, sponsored by the Youth Council and the Municipality of San Gavino Monreale. The students listened to the stories of those who experienced the Mafia and anti-Mafia movement within their own homes and subsequently fought a battle in the name of legality and truth.
