There is a boom in enrollments (over 120) at the University of the Third Age of Monreale, which has opened its 16th academic year. After the renovation works, the lessons of the Sangavino association, chaired by Professor Salvatore Manno, take place in via Fermi 11 in the former elementary school.

Now the weekly lessons are held on Thursday at 5 pm, but many workshops will be active such as the recovery and restoration of the ancient book, the Sardinian dance and gentle gymnastics course, in Spanish and English and various guided tours of the nature can be carried out historical, archaeological and environmental.
The University of the Third Age is a point of reference in the cultural life of the country: «Our association - explains the president Salvatore Manno - is close to those who want to enjoy the pleasure and richness of culture at all ages. Culture helps to keep the mind trained and to discuss. We enthusiastically resumed attending classes. A guided tour of Sedilo will take place on December 1st to visit the nuraghes and giant tombs of the area».
