The alarm was raised by the Local TV Association of Confindustria Radio Televisioni, Aeranti-Corallo, and "Alpi," which expressed "serious concern," calling on the Prime Minister's Office and political forces "to take all necessary measures to restore these resources, which were unexpectedly and unsustainably cut." Local broadcasters "play a crucial role in the country's information and cultural landscape, contributing to the diversity and plurality of information." Trade unions are also taking action. The first commitments
"The League has intervened, at the direct instigation of Matteo Salvini , to restore the funding allocated to local broadcasters, submitting a sub-amendment to Economic Decree 95/2025 for consideration by the Senate Budget Committee."
