Salmo bids farewell to Red Valley. "This edition will be the last time we'll see Olbia-born artist Salmo on the stage of the Olbia Arena," explains Luca Usai, event manager and patron of the festival. "He's embarking on his first world tour, which will take him to America and major cities around the world, with dates like London, Paris, and Stockholm already sold out."

The news had been in the air, but now it's official: at least for a while, the host of the Olbia-based Red Valley, one of the event's leading lights since its debut in 2015 in Arbatax, will be absent from Italy's most beloved pop, urban, rap, and dance crossover festival. And the rush for tickets for the August 16th event is skyrocketing.

Salmo will be one of the performers at the fourth and final date of the tenth edition of Red Valley, scheduled for August 13th to 16th. The Gallura rapper will be joined on stage by Guè, Irama, Nerissima Serpe, Papa V, Fritu, and Promessa.

The event—which was officially presented yesterday by Usai, Olbia Mayor Settimo Nizzi, and Sebastiano Pisciottu, Salmo's brother and co-organizer with Usai of Red Valley and Vasco Rossi's live concert, taking place in Olbia on June 12th and 13th next year at the Olbia Arena—will bring together 40 major artists from the national and international music scene in the city over four dates.

The lineup for August 16th has already been announced: Max Pezzali, Fedez, Tommy Cash, Rocco Hunt, Sarah Toscano and Settembre for the 13th, Alan Walker, Sfera Ebbasta, Ghali, Shiva, Morad, Paky and Tony Effe for the 14th and Anna, Lazza, Steve Aoki, Artie 5ive, Tony Boy, Faneto, Melons and Rrari Dal Tacco for the 15th. The lineup will be completed soon with the rest of the cast: surprises are not ruled out.
