Salernitana is saved at the last minute: Danilo Iervolino's offer is accepted

The Salernitana fans breathe a sigh of relief at the last minute.
The trustees in charge of transferring the shares of the Campania club have in fact accepted the offer presented by Danilo Iervolino, thus avoiding the nightmare of exclusion from the Serie A championship that would have taken place if by 31 December no offers had arrived for the purchase of the club.
"It is with great emotion that I announce the acquisition of Salernitana 1919", announces Iervolino himself in a note.
"Salerno and its fans deserve a competitive team. I strongly believe that the team relaunch project we are preparing will guarantee balance and stability to the company", adds the entrepreneur and president of the telematic university Pegaso, who ensures "the utmost commitment to build a lasting future
and full of satisfactions for the city and for its extraordinary supporters ".
But Iervolino's offer could be opposed. A complaint to the Salerno Public Prosecutor's Office on the sale of Salernitana is in fact about to be filed by the lawyer of the company PVAM sa, trustee of the Global Pacific Capital Management doo Fund, which was refused.
two offers for the acquisition of the club - 38 million in bank bonds and 26 million in cash - higher than that of Danilo Iervolino.
This was announced by the Turin lawyer Francesco Paulicelli, who is also evaluating the filing of a precautionary appeal.
