Safety at work: this is the theme of the talk for businesses organized today by L'Unione Sarda and the University of Cagliari, in the Giorgio Pisano room. It will be visible in live streaming from 17:30 to approximately 18:30.

In 2025, workplace safety in Italy has undergone important regulatory and operational updates, with the aim of strengthening accident prevention and improving worker protection. In recent days, there has been a lot of talk about safety after many regions and local administrations have issued ordinances to prevent potential problems due to excessive heat. The talk will try to shed light on regulatory changes, on company obligations, on institutional controls and on the very important activity of prevention . We will also talk about safety with respect to climate change and training to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses in Sardinia on the front of risk prevention in the workplace.

Moderated by Giuseppe Deiana , editor-in-chief of the Unione Sarda, the event will have as guests Professor Piera Loi , lecturer in Labour Law at Unica, Professor Massimo Corrias , lecturer in Labour Law and trade unionist at Unica, Doctor Antonio Urban , head of the Prevention and Protection Service at the AOU of Cagliari, Doctor Alfredo Nicifero , regional director of Inail Sardinia, and Engineer Antonino Cipriano , official of Confartigianato Sud Sardegna.
