"In a few hours I will enter the operating room for breast surgery due to a malignant nodule." So says Sabrina Salerno on social media, accompanying the words with an image of her without makeup and an IV in her arm.

The photo was taken at the Ca' Foncello hospital in Treviso, which is a few kilometers from Preganziol, where the showgirl lives.

"Like every year - her message continues - in July I had a mammogram. These were months accompanied by so much fear, anxiety, melancholy but above all so much hope and desire to react". She then concludes with an invitation and a warning: "Prevention and early diagnosis can save our lives". Only four days ago a photograph of a very different nature was posted, with the singer in a tracksuit at the gym and the caption: "This September will be a very important month for me! I'm ready". A message that in light of today's news takes on a different meaning, until now kept hidden.

As has already happened in other circumstances, the various social channels were soon invaded by messages of support, hope and good luck, from simple fans or more famous colleagues: among the first to show solidarity with Sabrina was the singer Mietta, and then Alessia Marcuzzi, Natasha Stefanenko, and two other women fighting against cancer such as Carolina Marconi and the judge of "Dancing with the Stars" Carolyn Smith. Then the choreographer Luca Tomassini, and also Antonella Clerici, Simona Ventura and Caterina Balivo.
