Saboris Antigus, an event presented today at the Chamber of Commerce in Largo Carlo Felice, is warming up. Now in its twelfth year, the 2025 edition is titled "The Flavors of Hospitality." Nine stops in the Trexenta and Sarcidano regions, featuring tastings and traditions, kick off on October 26th in Gergei and conclude with the two-day Mandas event on December 20th and 21st.

"Compared to previous editions, there is a twinning with Dalmatia, a European region for gastronomy in 2027," comments Vitangelo Tizzano of the Cagliari-Oristano Chamber of Commerce.

"The first thing that welcomes you is the smiles of the people," adds Giuseppina Scorrano of the Chamber of Commerce. "It's a small step towards combating depopulation. At the end of the season, there will be a guide to products and dishes."

"It's not just the food that's on display, but the Sarcidano's warm welcome and hospitality: a welcome that lasts all year round," says Serri's mayor, Samuele Gaviano.

The mayor of Siurgus Donigala, Antonello Perra, adds, "We have more accommodations and places to eat."
