Ryanair has launched its 2024 winter schedule at Perugia Airport with four routes to Cagliari, Catania, London and Palermo.
“As Italy’s No. 1 airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce a winter 2024 schedule to Perugia with over 25 weekly flights on four routes - Cagliari, Catania, Palermo and London Stansted - together with increased frequencies, providing customers with unbeatable choice at the lowest fares when booking their flights for winter 2024,” said Fabrizio Francioni, Ryanair’s Head of Communications Italy.

The Irish company is once again taking the opportunity to ask to eliminate the municipal surcharge, that tax of 6 euros and 50 cents that weighs on each ticket and, the company says, slows down the development of air traffic.

"To increase the growth of Italian tourism, Ryanair - the note reads - calls on the Italian government and regions to eliminate the municipal addition at all Italian airports and thus allow Ryanair and other airlines to rapidly deliver tourism and job growth throughout the year ."
