The countdown to the seventh edition has begun. The SoloWomenRun will be held in Cagliari on Sunday, a pink solidarity race which will see 12,000 women at the start and the details of which were illustrated this morning in the Cagliari town hall.

The president of the City Council Edoardo Tocco did the honors, flanked by the city councilors Marina Adamo and Fioremma Landucci, as well as by the president of the Equal Opportunities Commission, Stefania Loi.

The organizer Andrea Culeddu (Gevensport), supported by Alexa Leinardi, vice president of Cagliari Atletica Leggera and Pietro Casu, president of Uisp Cagliari, explained that the formula is unchanged with an Open motor play walk open to all, of 4.5 km, and a Challenge race with final classification, of about 9, with departure and arrival at the Fair.

As always, solidarity comes first. In addition to allowing groups and associations to carry out crowdfunding initiatives independently, through registrations, Cagliari SWR is giving away three prizes to financially support as many social responsibility projects designed for the area. The associations that will ensure a minimum number of 250 bibs, can participate in the Charity Gola, presenting a solidarity project: the first three will be rewarded with a contribution. The godmother of the event will be the champion Dalia Kaddari , bronze at the European Championships with the 4x100m relay in Monaco.

Radiolina , media partner of the event again this year, will devote ample space to the event: from 9 am live coverage with Valentina Caruso and Lele Casini. The radio will also be present on site, with a DJ set and animation by Luca Carcassi and Simonluca Olla .
