Cagliari has Andrea Belotti back. Obviously not on the pitch yet, as several months will pass before we see him in a match again, but at least he's back in Sardinia.

A month and a half after the serious injury sustained against Inter, tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, Gallo has returned to Sardinia to begin a new phase of his rehabilitation. Which, it should be noted, certainly won't be a short one.

Belotti's post-surgery rehabilitation continues as planned, and he will now begin work in Cagliari under the direct supervision of the Rossoblu's medical staff. "Forza Gallo, we are by your side," Cagliari wrote in announcing his return to Sardinia.

This afternoon, at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini, the Rossoblù resumed training after two days of rest granted by Fabio Pisacane. Under the orders of the coach and his staff, the first session of this international break will take place, leading up to the home match against Genoa on Saturday the 22nd at 3:00 PM. Seven players have been called up: in addition to Elia Caprile (Italy), the Under-21s Riyad Idrissi and Marco Palestra, Semih Kılıçsoy (Turkey Under-21s), Zito Luvumbo (Angola), Yerry Mina (Colombia), and Adam Obert (Slovakia).
