The rape lawsuit filed against Cristiano Ronaldo by Kathryn Mayorga is dismissed by a Las Vegas judge.

The woman had stated that she had suffered violence from the Manchester United star in 2009 and had received 375 thousand dollars in exchange for absolute confidentiality on the facts. The agreement, according to Mayorga, would however have been violated by the player himself or by his staff since everything had ended up in the European media: Der Spiegel in 2017 had published some indiscretions on the affair. And on that occasion, the accuser had asked Ronaldo for another 25 million dollars in damages.

Now, however, Judge Jennifer Dorsey has rejected the rape case, speaking of " bad faith " of Mayorga's lawyer, Leslie Mark Stovall, and of the use of stolen documents on the talks between Ronaldo and his lawyers.

Dorsey has closed the case outright, so it can't be re-filed.
