A super Jannik Sinner gains access to the Roland Garros final, the first of his career for the Italian . The goal was within his reach and he did not miss it, demonstrating superiority and determination in the 6-4 7-5 7-6 victory against former world number one Novak Djokovic.

Up until this evening, there had been perfect parity in the direct clashes between Sinner and Djokovic: eight matches played, four victories each. The last three challenges, however, had all gone in favor of the number one, starting from the Davis Cup match where Jannik had cancelled three match points to Nole.

Jannick continues his journey in Paris, where he has not yet lost a set : six matches played and 18 partials won. In three matches out of five on the Parisian red clay, he has handed his opponent a clear 6-0.
