The Visual Anthropology Laboratory “Fiorenzo Serra” of the Società Umanitaria organizes the screening of the docu-film "Sardigna Romanica", directed by Nicola Marongiu and Cinzia Carrus. The appointment is for tomorrow at 4 pm in the Aula Magna of the Department of History, Human Sciences and Education of the University of Sassari. The event has the collaboration of the Margherita High School of Castelvì di Sassari.
“Sardigna Romanica” is a journey back in time to discover the art and architecture of Sardinia, which developed from the 10th century thanks to the monastic religious orders, in the era of the kingdoms of the Giudicati and the influence of the maritime city of Pisa. A historical-artistic era that has left wonderful architectural testimonies, including churches and monuments, before the advent of the Gothic.
An exciting journey into the Sardinian Middle Ages with the participation of the Fondazione Sardegna Isola del Romanico. Scientific coordination by Paolo Sirena and Flaminia Fanari, an Über Pictures production for Rai Sardegna, in collaboration with the Fondazione Sardegna Isola del Romanico, the Sardinia Region and the Società Umanitaria-Cineteca Sarda.
