The show opened with an empty stage and just a drum beat, with Watts' images projected onto the big screens.

After the second song, "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll (But I Like It)", Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood approached the audience to thank the fans for their love for the drummer.

"This is our first tour without him, we will miss Charlie a lot, on and off the stage," said the British band's frontman with emotion.

The group then resumed the concert dedicating "Tumbling Dice" to the deceased musician.

Many classics were performed during the show, including "Paint It Black", "Sympathy For The Devil", "Jumpin Jack Flash" and "Gimme Shelter".
