Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori are once again champions at Roland Garros : the Italian mixed doubles team confirmed last year's success by beating the duo Gabriela Dabrowski-Evan King in the final, coming from behind to win 4-6 6-3 10-4.

"I'm still living this never-ending dream. Andrea, you're my best friend. Playing with you is so beautiful, so much fun, and you're so strong," Sara Errani said to Andrea Vavassori after her triumph. "See you in a year," the Italian added after her victory in Paris. She then thanked her team and family: "Without you, none of this would be possible."

“Thank you, Sara. You’re my best friend, the first person I want to talk to when I lose a match. I’m happy to share this journey with you. I don’t take it for granted,” Vavassori said.
