For the only Sardinian date of his "Tra il silenzio e il tuono" tour, Roberto Vecchioni returns to Cagliari, the city that hosted his first concert in Sardinia in 1977. Tomorrow at 9:00 PM, the Milanese singer-songwriter, born in 1943, will perform at the MusiCA Arena with his historic band, consisting of Lucio Fabbri (piano and violin), Massimo Germini (acoustic guitar), Antonio Petruzzelli (bass), and Roberto Gualdi (drums), in a live performance organized by Patagonia Pictures and produced by DM Produzioni.

In Cagliari, the singer and lyricist, but also writer and teacher, will perform timeless hits— "Samarcanda," "Sogna, ragazzo, sogna," "Chiamami ancora amore," "El Bandolero Stanco," "Luci a San Siro" —and songs from his latest album ("L'infinito"), in a show inspired by the book of the same name, his most intimate novel, published last year, in which "the professor" intertwines literature, philosophy, and cinema.

A necessary step? "The truth is that the book went really well," explains Vecchioni. "An incredible stroke of luck, so I wondered if it wouldn't be appropriate to reinterpret the same concept in music: living simultaneously within oneself, for oneself, which in the title is 'silence,' and outside of oneself, engaging with others, which is 'thunder.' It will be a spectacle of songs, images, and monologues."
