Roberto Muzzi is the new club manager of Cagliari Calcio .

The former footballer (in rossoblù from 1994 to 1999 with 144 appearances and 58 goals) will assist the sporting director Stefano Capozucca in organizing and managing the team and the technical staff.

He is a new figure in the company's organization chart - we read on the official website - created "with a view to offering greater support to the technical area of the first team".

It was the rossoblu club that relaunched the striker who was unable to explode in his Rome. Muzzi remained in Cagliari even after the team's relegation to B in 96-97 and was among the protagonists of the immediate rise to Serie A.
