It takes a beastly physique for certain undertakings. Roberto Giacobbo , the science communicator who for his TV programs (Voyager and Freedom-Oltre il confine) has climbed pyramids, scuba dived, flown on the surface of the Bermuda Triangle, and entered very narrow underground passages, knows this well.
But it is in Sardinia, in Morgongiori, that, he says in an interview with Corriere della Sera, he "lost a rib" .
"I had entered through a very narrow crack in the mountain, no more than a palm and three fingers wide, after having deflated the air from my lungs, then descending for 70 meters ", says Giacobbo, who is 2 meters tall and weighs more than 100 kilos. He made a mistake: " I had not calculated that, after two hours of intense physical activity, the body swells. I should have waited, but instead I went straight back ". And so he remained practically stuck in a tunnel: "I was proceeding, pressing myself against the rock, when a protruding stone lodged itself in my chest" .
It was excruciating pain, he recalls, but in the end he got over it: "The important thing in certain moments is not to let yourself panic."
Giacobbo often does reports on UFOs and also answered a question about it: « I deal with it when there are reliable testimonies. Believing in UFOs as a dogma is excessive, but we cannot be the only inhabitants of the universe, I believe that there is life in other worlds. Today with artificial intelligence we can build non-existent realities. Doubts come to me especially when I see strange representations in the past, of objects or people that could not have existed at that time».
