Rimini faces the risk of early exclusion, as Corriere Romagna reports that "after the shareholders' meeting, they submitted the paperwork for voluntary liquidation." Therefore, Sunday's match against Torres in Rimini is in doubt.
The Romagna club started with a -15 penalty which became -16 and therefore despite having obtained 11 points (Torres has only 8) they are still at -5.
The decision to forfeit the contract follows the referral made by the federal prosecutor: "The company was reported as having direct liability for failing to pay, by September 16, 2025, the INPS contributions for the months of May and June, by September 30, 2025, the periodic VAT payments for the fourth quarter of the 2024 tax year, and, by October 16, 2025, the INPS contributions and IRPEF withholdings for the months of July and August 2025. The company was reported as having direct liability for the disciplinary violations attributed to Mr. Antonino Buscemi, its sole director, who was also reported."
