The energy transition to support the development of renewable energies without uncertainty, but also the need for renewable energy sources to be considered as common goods for social well-being and not as goods to be privatized for the benefit of a few: these are the themes at the center of the meeting scheduled for Monday 9 May (starting at 5 pm) in the Conference Room of the Foundation of Sardinia (in via San Salvatore da Horta in Cagliari).

The meeting, entitled “ Renewable energies and energy transition . Earth, sun and wind: common goods for the community or privatizable goods? ”, Is organized by the Enrico Berlinguer Foundation .

The debate, which will be preceded by a greeting from Tore Cherchi , president of the Enrico Berlinguer Foundation, and will be moderated by Maria Del Zompo (former rector of the University of Cagliari) will be attended by the professors of the University of Cagliari Ester Cois , Alfonso Damiano and Gianmario Demuro , their colleague from the University of Trieste Roberto Louvin who will discuss with the regional councilors Gianfranco Ganau and Massimo Zedda , the Deputy Minister for Economic Development Alessandra Todde , the President of the League of Cooperatives Claudio Atzori , the Mayor of Guasila Paola Casula and the secretary regional office of the CGIL, Samuele Piddiu .

The initiative is part of the busy program organized by the Enrico Berlinguer Foundation on the occasion of the centenary of the Sardinian politician's birth.

"The Foundation aims to actively preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the left of the twentieth century - reads the deeply renewed website - and, at the same time, wants to be a laboratory and a place for debate of the ideas of the twenty-first century left" .

The Berlinguer Foundation intends to draw attention to the fundamental issues and in this case to the way in which public institutions should consider renewable energies without entering into specific programs, a matter that is the responsibility of other subjects.
