January 27 is approaching , identified by the United Nations as a day to remember the extermination and persecution of the Jewish people and those deported to Nazi camps . Guspini prepares for the anniversary by setting up a themed bibliographic exhibition , with hundreds of books including novels, works and biographies.

“Shoa. Remembrance Day ”, was held on the premises of the “Sergio Atzeni” municipal library. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the "Monte Linas" Library System and has the patronage of the municipal administration. It will be open to visitors during the opening hours to the public until 4 February .

Also in Guspini, as in many other centers in Sardinia, the "Reminder Auschwitz Sardinia 2023" project , financed by the Municipality and managed by the Arci Sardinia Association in cooperation with the "Deina" Association, could not be missing. There is time until Wednesday 25 to submit the application (instructions on the municipality's web channels). The only place available is reserved for residents between the ages of 18 and 25 .

Promemoria Auschwitz is a European citizenship education project that aims to accompany young people to discover and understand the complexity of the world around us using the past as a point of comparison.
